The Challenge

In the second half of 2025, the Uganda Law Society, operating under the vision of the "Radical New Bar," prepared to host its inaugural Annual Law TechFest. To ensure the event met the high expectations of the legal fraternity, ULS required a seamless, modernised approach to event administration. They needed a strategic partner capable of eliminating payment bottlenecks, managing complex on-site logistics, and executing high-stakes promotional draws with absolute integrity and transparency.

Our Solution

Magezi Harvest Ltd was engaged to provide comprehensive strategic and technological interventions for the TechFest. We designed and deployed a multi-tiered digital ecosystem tailored to the event's unique needs:

• Omnichannel Payment Integration: We deployed a secure digital payment gateway tailored for ULS members. This allowed for frictionless ticket purchasing via Credit/Debit cards as well as all major Mobile Money platforms across Uganda.

• Smart Accreditation System: We developed and implemented specialized software for the real-time identification and accreditation of all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and sponsors upon arrival.

• Transparent Digital Raffling: To manage the highly anticipated #BangTheBenz, #BangTheTrip, and #BangTheSwag promotions, we engineered a custom digital raffling system designed for live, public display.

The Result

Our technological interventions fundamentally elevated the inaugural TechFest. The digital payment solution drastically simplified revenue collection, while our accreditation software proved to be a game-changer, delivering a premium, streamlined experiential impact for ULS members from the moment they arrived. Finally, the live digital raffling system became a major highlight of the event; by keeping names on full display during the draws, the software guaranteed unquestionable transparency while successfully driving immense excitement and tension among the attendees.
